Spiked is an arcade-style two-player game in which two orbs attempt to kill their opponent by shoving him/her into a spike. You can bounce off walls, each other, and more! In addition, your flight path is modified by three traps: speeders, nexi, and mirrors.
-Speeders juice up your speed (obvious, huh?)
-Nexi (pl. of nexus) trap you for about 3 seconds
-Mirrors bounce you into spikes
Also, you can recieve an immunity to one of these traps at a time by running over buttons. Therefore, your objective is to push your opponent into spikes, traps, or a combination of the two, until s/he dies.

I have only programmed C++ for 2 months. Most of the code in this game is adaped from Inegmar Regnemalm's example of his Sprite Animation Toolkit, SAT Invaders. I drew all the graphics and did all the simple programing. Also, I used Gamma Utils for the fades. I am indebted to the game Maelstrom for ideas.
ÑGame stuff
This is my first game (I am only 17 years old). Since it didn't take too long to program, it is free. Enjoy!
